The clients asked that additions (which would be substantial) not overwhelm the original house visually, and that
the entire project, when completed, should not look “new”. The additions include
a wing (which is not seen from the street) to the northeast of the house, a wing to the
south, replacing the original porch and better balancing the wing to the north, and a new
entry porch. |
