Most dog owners consider their canine companions to be more than just pets;
they are members of the family. So when undertaking a remodeling project, why
not take into account what little tweaks can make a big difference in

“When I had my designer come over to discuss the project, I casually
said to watch out for the dog food dishes because I have tripped over them a
thousand times,” said dog and cat owner Patti Blaschka. “It was me
complaining and wanting a more functional kitchen.”

At the time, Blaschka didn’t know what a good listener her remodeler
